Since it's our 3-year Anniversary in February. How about we all come up with our top 5 recipes we make over and over from the blog. And, then we can label them as our favorites? Put your selections in the comments!
Love you girls! I'm so glad to keep in such close contact with all of you!

Only 5?! I'll have to figure out which ones I use the MOST because I have so many I use!
Um, I use a lot more than five, but my five I use the MOST I guess are:
1. Stina's black beans! I use them whenever we have anything mexican for dinner. And they rock as leftovers for lunch!
2. Sweet and sour chicken. My kids love it and Bryan asks for it all the time. It's sort of time-consuming, but so worth it!
3. The Double Chocolate Banana Bread. It is soooo much better baking it the way Stina recommended in the comments! And we all love it.
4. Honey Lime Enchiladas (yum!)
5. Homemade chicken alfredo. With the breadsticks.
There are so many I want to try! (I need a bigger grocery budget). Like the Pasta Milano, or the BBQ pulled pork (I actually have all the ingredients for that!). And the ranch chicken...someone please stop me!
Kelli's Corn Chowder
Celeste's Cheesecake
Kristi's Buckeyes
Carissa's Cheesy Pigs in a Blanket
Denises's Waffles
I'm sure I'd love Destiny's recipes--if she submitted any!!! Where'd you go?
And, my recipe that I always go back to is my BBQ Chicken Salad. WE LOVE IT!!!
I had to find other ones cause Celeste already said the honey lime enchiladas. Of course there's the peanut butter popcorn, pumpkin bars, potato skins, cafe rio salads, Texas Caviar, homemade Oreos...the list can go on and on.
We are good cooks!!!
PS. After you list your top five, will you find them and label them as a favorite? Thanks!
Okay, I have been stewing on this one. It is very hard to just pick 5. I am concentrating on the ones I cook over and over verses the ones I want to cook over and over, lemon blossoms!
1. Hearty Tomato Soup
2. Easy Fried Rice
3. Pasta Milano
4. Easy Banana muffins
5. Cafe Rio salad...pork.
I know I do not contribute as much to this blog, but I LOVE getting recipes from it. Everyone in my ward knows about you ladies! Keep the recipes coming and I will add some of my own more often :)
K, dumb question. How do I label them as a favorite?
Hey Denise! Thanks for your favorites. You have to go back to the recipe and click edit. Underneath the box the recipe is typed in, is a little box that says "labels." Start typing in favorites and it will fill in the rest of the word. Press the tab button or click on it. And, I think Pasta Milano is already a favorite...cause I would have chosen that one first!!!
Okay...I can only edit the recipes I posted? Am I the only one who can't figure this out!
No, Denise, I can't edit anything other than my own recipes too. Stina, I think you can edit them all since you created the blog, but the rest of us can only edit what we posted.
I had no idea I was so powerful. I found a way to give all of you administrative power. So, now you too can edit all posts!!! You are welcome!
Oh my, I can't choose! If I HAD to choose the ones I make the most or love the most, I'd choose:
1. Egg Rolls and Sweet and Sour Sauce and Celeste's Easy Fried Rice. We make them for company and special occasions and LOVE them.
2. Kelli's Chicken Parmesan with Salad and Lemon Vinagrette. It is ridiculously easy to make but so elegant. We get lots of compliments on this one.
3. Kristi's Big Soft Sugar Cookies. If you haven't made these you MUST next time you decorate cookies. They really are super big and soft!
4. Stina's Chicken Noodle Soup. It really does make me feel better especially when I am sick, and we like to experiment with different noodles.
5. I can't choose- my Banana Cupcakes, Kelli's Lemon Pudding Souffles, or any of the cheesecake recipes. I'm a sucker for sugar!
There are so many honorable mentions though, like Destiny's taco meat in the crock pot, Celeste's homemade mac and cheese (seriously, a staple in our house!), turkey bolognese, beef and cheese manicotti (perfect for dinners that I have to bring to other families), and so on.
You all are such great cooks and do a great job trying new and old recipes and sharing them for us all to try. I seriously wouldn't know what to make for dinner EVER if it wasn't for this blog!
I'm with everyone...only 5?! I make a lot of recipes on here, but the 5 that I recall making most often would probably be beef and cheese manicotti, banana banana bread (and the chocolate banana bread), corn chowder, sweet and sour chicken, and the homemade tortillas with chicken taco meat in the crock pot. Thing is, most of these are my recipes because I'd been making them awhile before I even put them on the blog, but I love this blog. I turn to it every Sunday when making my menu for the week. Thanks for keeping up with it everyone!!!
Since I got on here last, I am going to repeat some of your favorites but I don't care! These are the recipes I use the most...
Sweet and Sour Chicken
Slow Cooker Chili
Honey Lime Enchiladas
Black Beans
Corn Chowder
And several more! I love this website! I especially love that it is so organized now and I can find whatever I want! Thanks, Christina!
