Crunchy Romaine Toss

I found this recipe on AllRecipes.com and made it the other day for a BBQ. It was soooo good and I will definitely make it again. It has kind of an Asian flavor to it with the Ramen and soy sauce so if you need a quick salad for your next BBQ this is one to make!!

Crunchy Romaine Toss
Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 teaspoons soy sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1 (3 ounce) package ramen noodles, broken
1/2 cup chopped Almonds
1 1/2 cups chopped broccoli
1 small head romaine lettuce, torn
4 green onions, chopped
Directions
In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the sugar, oil, vinegar, soy sauce, salt and pepper; shake well. Spread broken Ramen and almonds on a cookie sheet and sprinkle with the seasoning packet from the Ramen. Bake in the oven at 400 for 10 min or until golden in color. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, romaine and onions. Just before serving, toss with dressing, almonds and noodles. Serve and enjoy!
